Hello swelling! While my tongue didn’t swell much at all on day 1 it looks really attractive today (like a big fat slug !) Eating is tricky – even soup takes a long time to eat so having something you can ‘eat’ through a straw like slimfast shakes are a good plan (they taste nicer than protein shakes and are filling).

Note: I found feeling sleepy / down was a sign I needed to take anti-inflammatory pain killers, they really help with the swelling but also makes things much more comfortable.
Pain: Feels like you have burned your tongue on something hot. Pretty constant (till treated)
Advice: Dissolvable Ibuprofen (And Vitamin C + Zinc if you are taking it) are a really good idea as swallowing a tablet is tricky at best!
