The host of these forums does not allow any form of pornographic material and while I know I, and many other, piercing enthusiasts do not consider photos of genital piercings to be pornographic I do not think we will be able to argue the toss with the forum space provider! So, for now, it is regret that I have to request no pictures of genitals or nipples be posted on the boards.

Posting a diagram or 'drawn' picture for educational purposes should be ok but anything else has to remain at the door at least for the moment

During the course of my healing I was surprised by some foods that I thought would be soft / easy to eat actually not being very easy at all! So i've tried to put together a basic list of things I can remember eating and what was or wasn't so good!


Foods I found easy to eat:

• Yoghurt and mashed banana
  
• Porridge with maple syrup
  
• Soft chip shop - style chips (No vinegar, Low salt)
  
• Tofu
  
• Fake chicken (quorn / soya replacement)
  
• Real chicken
  
• Hotdogs (inc vege...

The first thing I found tricky was the amount of saliva that seems to gather under my tongue, its very hard to swallow comfortably without making really sexy slurping noises. Having a water bottle on hand to take a sip of every now and again really helped.

Note: You will not be able to eat melted chocolate buttons today… ow...

Hello swelling! While my tongue didn’t swell much at all on day 1 it looks really attractive today (like a big fat slug !) Eating is tricky – even soup takes a long time to eat so having something you can ‘eat’ through a straw like slimfast shakes are a good plan (they taste nicer than...

Day three: Ouch. Tongue feels bruised like you’ve accidently bitten both sides, have an ulcer under your tongue and then been punched by a donkey wearing bright pink oversized boxing gloves...

Note: If you have about an hour you can slowly and carefully eat through soft solids on your less swollen...

Day Five:Tongue is looking much better today but is feeling quite stiff and I have baaad dry mouth... The type of dry mouth where it makes you want to cough till your spleen comes up... and coughing is one of few actions that currently still really hurt (the other one is yawning!). The best solution I found was to drink thick milkshakes and to eat yoghurt!

Day seven and eight: Tongue feels better again and the swelling seems to be slowly going down but nothing to write home about!

Note: Swelling is always worse first thing in the morning, but starting my day with ice cold water in the middle of summer isn't so bad!

Day Nine: My mouth is angry with me... I stick two big bars in it and made it sore for a week and now its getting better it's decided to punish me with mouth ulcers! I have one on the side of my tongue and one whopper on my lip *Sulks* Bongela doesn't work for me so I have had to change mouthwashes to corsodyl which unfortunately is alcohol based so...

Day Eleven: Swelling is still there but I have noticed some gum damage on my front teeth on the right. I'm pretty sure its from the bottom ball setting against it at night and im slightly concerned about it to be honest (essentially if i gently pull back with my finger a small bit of gum pulls away from my teeth)

As you can see I have fully healed and my shinies are looking awesome! About a week after my 'emergency' downsize to 16mm I downsized to a pair of 14mm autoclaved bioplast labrets and just left them alone to do their thing. I didn't have any other problems to report!
